Re: Top 10 War Movies
I know there's a war in it, but does Last Of The Mohicans really count as a war movie?

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Even though I liked Doctor Strange when it came out, I've felt no urge to rewatch it.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Yep, highly enjoyed Wonder Woman, and I would definitely say it's the best movie of the DCEU so far, though I am still no hater on BvS or Man Of Steel (still highly enjoy both, Suicide Squad is still meh to me). Still not better than Logan this year to me though.

Re: Recently Watched Movies
Kickboxer: Vengeance ............ C+ Cool fighting, JCVD is frigg'n great as Durand (and his wardrobe looks SO comfortable), and I did like Bautista as Tong Po, but the new Sloan was bland (as an actor, his fighting was pretty good) and they had to shoe-horn a loose plot of him being a fugitive and ...

Re: 50 Scariest horror movies ever
I don't recall if I've seen Martyrs, or I am mixing it up with something else (probably am). I have my doubts of its placement as well though. And 28 Days Later's high placement. I like the movie and all, but also not much to go one in the scare department that wasn't already covered in other landm...

Re: 50 Scariest horror movies ever
What is this list, I don't even... it is pretty all over the place. even confused as to whether it's meant to be a scariest or a best list, within the article itself. :P but i don't like the hate being thrown around for some cool stuff, like carrie and candyman. :P Sorry zombs, everyone knows that ...

Re: 50 Scariest horror movies ever
They also must of polled a lot of black people coming out of Get out for it to rank on this list. Good movie, but it doesn't belong on the list. Goodnight Mommy can just go fuck off as well. What's scary when the fucking twist is given away within the first minute of the film? Was it polled? Seemed...

That's what me thinking.showa58taro wrote:The list strikes me as one drummed up for controversy, rather than a good list.
Though, I'm pretty sure the heavy religious types still find the concept of Rosemary's Baby incredibly scary (especially the devil rape scene) but outside that, I don't see much scare to go on.

Is that Dead Men Tell No Tales over there? Perhaps? I assume. I don't know if you've got some US-friendlier version without Paul McCartney or summat. No, he's there. It's just that it's called Dead Men Tell No Tales stateside. I feel like I like Salazar's Revenge better. Javier Bardem deserves a sp...

Re: May 31st 2017
if wonder woman does well, can we finally get gibson and zemeckis signed to the dceu? i'd like some actual news on that, instead of just "they might do it". :P even, gotham city sirens just seems to be on hold, and they have an actual director. i don't get it. :P I want to have faith in a...
