Re: October Challenge Discussion Thread 2019

I did not make myself sufficiently clear when I made my post about the Langoliers. It has been at least 10 years, if not many more, since I have seen that movie. I liked it then, and I still like it. I did not start watching it until noon ...then "life" happened, and I had to go do some th...

Re: October Challenge Discussion Thread 2019

Well, it took me almost nine hours to watch the three hours worth of viewing that The Langoliers gave me. I guess for now, I will call this
my "off" day, and only get one in. Hopefully I will be able to pick up my pace tomorrow. Have a good evening!

Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread 2018

This is NOT my October! First I start out not focused..then these last three days, I have been sick. All of you might still watch movies through that,
but I lost even more interest about two and a half days ago..just thought I would put an update on here to say I am still alive.

Thanks.

Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread 2018

Ok, not happy here..after three days of on and off watching of the movie Passed the Door of Darkness (2008) in a horror pack I had, and finally finishing it, I now go to IMDB and find they say it is a Thriller, instead. I am less than thrilled. I know I am not doing well this year, but this just is...

Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread 2018

First viewing of The Old Dark House. My first film of the Challenge from the 30's I set my DVR to record that. Let me know if it's worth the time. John Whale directing Boris Karloff that's must see shit :) James Whale? I didn't realize he was the director. Yeah, they made magic together in Bride. Y...

Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread 2018

I did not say I disliked it, I know the problem lies with me. I think it is good, and even though it has taken me longer than three days to finish it, I hope to finish tonight, I am finally at the 50 min. left mark. But I still do not see how they did it. I have other silent movies in my lineup afte...
