Re: What are you watching?
Well I just got through three episodes of Doctor Who...trying to catch up on the last season, I got way behind for a while there when we did not have cable or internet. I still have a few more to go before Christmas (the next new episode). Remember, you did ask.

Re: Movie You've Seen More Than Any Other
Hello everyone! Been on a little "vacation" since the end of the challenge. No movies here recently. A couple I have seen more than any other might be Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, or Major League. I would also have to include those older movies about baseball they show at the beginning of...
Re: Phantasm
I have not seen any of these, with all I am reading here, should I bother? I like horror enough, that is why I am here, but if it is going to suck, even I can find something else to do with my time.

Re: Your HMF October Challenge awards
I must admit, like one of the others on here, I do not pay much attention to the more "technical award" categories that are listed, so I have just a few of the generic ones. These lists alone took me a few minutes to think about. Best New Watch: Bed of the Dead Worst New Watch: The Snow Cr...

9,158 total minutes for the newbie! I am happy with that. And I had 70 new watches, probably won't surpass that again soon!

Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread: 2017
Well this was fun! I will only be able to fit two, maybe three more movies in today. I think for my first year I did ok. I know I will not "win" anything, but I will still come back next year! Thanks everyone!

Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread: 2017
Just got done forcing my way through The Swarm (so to speak)..I got varying runtimes though. The video I watched ran for almost 2 and a half hours, so I have to go with that even though IMDB has it at just under two hours. I watched this movie on Xmovies8. I would rather have had a shorter version, ...

Twice Told Tales, good movie. The second story I actually read in college, so it was nice to see it in a "movie" form. Finishing The Swarm next.

Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread: 2017
I was really going to stop at 90, so I have something to pass next year, but I have found a last minute surge of "movie watching energy" if you will. So onward I go!

I have a small comfort in knowing I would have never made it as a detective..just finished EYEBALL from 75. Guessed wrong three times. I still thought it was a good movie though.

Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread: 2017
Hello there! Just wanted to say a couple of things. I took a little time off, I did not want to overextend myself and get a number I could not get past next year, so I am just shooting for 90, which I will get. I know how many movies does not count, but for my first year, I thought I did well. Havok...

I know I am stating the obvious here, but...little centipedes baaaad...huge centipedes....worse...(lol). I was afraid I was not actually going to see one since they are in a cave. An ok movie so far.

Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread: 2017
I am almost done with The Last Man on Earth (1964). I will have to admit, I don't like this one as much as the Charlton Heston version, The Omega Man, only because I saw The Omega Man first I guess. But the black and white version gives a more "horror" feel to it, so that I like.
