late to the game, but i think reacher and wick are both good movies. wick is better and it wouldn't be compared all the time, if jason wasn't always comparing them himself. :P

over half of the time that i see you mention jack reacher, it's in connection, comparison, or association with john wick.

That's why Jack Reacher is better. :p

In reference to a discussion about John Wick 2...
Jason wrote:Haven't gotten around to Wick 2, yet. Jack Reacher 2 was pretty good, but the first one blows it out of the water. 2nd just wasn't as impactful or in-depth with a brilliant story. Still really enjoyable, though. Especially considering it threw shade at libs. :D
I missed you search function. :P

The entire reason I brought up Jack Reacher in that quote was because of all the comparisons it got on this board years back and I said I liked it better. Was joke.

years back, maybe fair. but you help keep it going. if you don't want it to keep going, don't keep it going? i didn't see anyone mention jack reacher in the whole atomic blonde/john wick discussion before you did. *shrug*

So basically nobody cared for a long time but you brought it up unprompted...twice. And then wondered why people were talking about the two movies in relation to each other. huh

It's a beautiful thing! 8-) Jason will no doubt find negativity in it, though. :P

Glad to hear, Jason.

Work is just so necessary for the human spirit to thrive. Feel empty without it.

Yeah, right! I was enjoying Bondathons and always getting to see the Rockies games. :p

I hear you, though. I guess it depends on the work, too. This 6-days-a-week shit has got to go, though. I don't know how long I'll be able to handle having one day off a week. I need life.

6 days is brutal. My younger brother works 6 days with a nightmare of a schedule. Starts early in the afternoon, gets home at midnight. He was telling me it's like psychological torture waking up in the morning only being able to think about going to work later which makes it tougher to be focused and productive in the first half of the day. Then of course when he gets home he can't do anything but crash. Rinse and repeat. Tough.

That's how it is. Throw in the fact that my hours range from 8-14 a day, and the fact that I have a one hour commute to work. Is hell.

got burned from a recommendation to a different dentist. They cost 5x as much as my old one, didn't discount it like I was told they would...and their payment plan is a joke (basically, you still have to pay in full for procedures, just like my old one).

Depressing because I know I need a lot of work done, but money is a major issue.
