Listening to an Audiobook reading of a Patrick Bateman threesome from American Psycho during my morning commute was a fucking weird experience. When I say no detail was spared I mean no detail was spared.

What kind of smut details? Talk of Bateman invoking the ol' Count of Monte Fisto on the broads? Him switching between holes and pounded em down more than a putt-putt golf course?

Compared to the novel the film American Psycho is a Hallmark channel Christmas movie. The depravity is off the charts.

That's what I pretty much always heard about the novel. In fact, while I forget who it was that told me this, I was told that I shouldn't read the novel; that it wasn't worth it. Always been sort of curious, but my reading habits are all over the place, and I doubt I could commit.

Im reading World War Z and its incredible how close Max's vision of how politicians and others would react during a global crisis is to the reality of today.

I’ve immersed myself in the JFK assassination literature and peripheral political/historical topics like general CIA history and big events of the 50s-70s (Watergate, Cuban Missile Crisis etc.)

I've been trying to watch JFK Revisited for like 5 months but don't know how to find a torrent and I'm still a stubborn ass who refuses to pay for any streaming services.

Check out Barr McClellan's Blood, Money & Power book. Could pay for a decent paperback on Amazon or ebay

Skip JFK Revisited and buy JFK: Destiny Betrayed (an extended four hour version) which was just released. I think you can buy it on YouTube.

I’m agnostic on LBJ involvement. A lot of the speculation originates from Madeleine Brown and she is not credible. I do think he would have known exactly what happened and he was even quoted in 1967 saying he believed the CIA was responsible.

The best JFK research comes from Jim DiEugenio imo. Jefferson Morley is great specifically on the CIA side of things. Peter Dale Scott is probably the best at deep diving the institutions involved as well as the whole Mexico City story. John Newman is also good on the CIA side and JFK’s Vietnam agenda. There’s a lot of great work on the assassination, but these four stand out.

I became convinced LBJ was at minimum involved when they found one of his henchman's (Malcolm Wallace) fingerprints on a cardboard box in the sniper's nest of the book depository. The book I mentioned will explain that in great detail but there's a documentary that came out about 20 years ago that did a pretty good job of linking the two together. Definitely worth spending 45 minutes of time to watch. And I'll look into the extended version, Destiny Betrayed, and see if I can buy it.

And Madeline Brown is definitely full of shit. But she's in this video for a short while unfortunately.

I’ll give it a look but here’s my issue before considering any potential evidence: would LBJ really be so brazen as to use a hitman who could so easily be connected to him? I believe the hit would have been outsourced to either the Cuban exiles or members of European fascist groups like the OAS. The “French gunman” story has endured for a long time.

I've thought that too, but I think at the time, the guy was so under the radar that there was no worry about connections between him and LBJ. Also, if my theory is correct, I'd say the CIA were the masterminds of the operation and LBJ was in on it and provided one of his own guys to be on the job of the assassination. I've been obsessed with this for 20 years and I feel like I only gain an inch of knowledge every time I take another dive into it.

Dealey Plaza is definitely my answer to the time travel question. That, or Roswell in 1947.

The mechanics of having another shooter in the TSBD also confuse me. How could that person have gotten out? I believe there is reasonable doubt as to whether Oswald was on the sixth floor at the time of the shooting but I don’t understand how another shooter is able to get out without being seen or heard. Cops were searching the building within two minutes.

Have you ever looked into the connection of Fascists in post-war Spain to US military intelligence, the CIA, oil interests and the Dallas business world? There’s a lot of juicy connections there. Mae Brussell was the first to explore the Nazi angle decades ago and it was mostly ignored but it’s been followed up on in recent years since the release of Nazi war criminal and CIA operative Otto Skorzeny’s personal papers

That's where I'm in the dark. Because even with Oswald it's possible he wasn't even involved at all. Maybe LBJ's guy was the shooter. And I hate witness testimony but a few did say they saw two people up there before the shooting and descriptions match LBJ's guy. How he got out without being seen remains a mystery but I have heard something about him hopping out from a window in the back or something. I'm not as fresh on it and I'd have to dig into it again to see where I heard that. Maybe it was in that documentary I posted. But the evidence suggests this dude was up there around the time of the shooting.
