So Will Smith slapped the shit out of Chris Rock live during the Oscars for talking about his wife. Still wouldn't get me to watch it
Re: March 28th 2022
I didn't even know the Oscar's were on. Lol. Will Smith just opened up the wormhole for the entire internet to shit on him. Rock should've come back with a banger after the slap, though. "You better move in with your Aunty and Uncle", or maybe "Hey, now, Will. Let's not get in any kind of entanglement- I mean altercation- here."
Edit: Thread is blowing up about this. So here is the video.

The fact that people think it was staged because the rating have been in the toilet is hilarious to me and completely understandable.

Diversity and Inclusion. Invite your Kanye's and Will Smith's to awards shows, they at least give you a headline while shitting on everything.

And what the fuck was that? Rock is like the whitest black dude around, and Smith barely mustered a swat on him. He looks like a total fucking jackass for nothing. If you're gonna do it, do it right bi-polar nutbag.
Re: March 28th 2022
In other news I was excited to see Duran Duran were playing about 30 minutes away from where I live until I saw it was 106 bucks for a lawn seat. That's easily over 150 when you add in fees and shit. Can't do it.

Shows are going up because artists don't make jack with record sales anymore. It really started with the Eagles' Hell Freezes Over tour back in '94. And yes.... those fees are total bullshit.
20 plus years later and I can say that Lars was right about Napster etc. Lol

All true, except Lars fucked up by suing the fans. Talk about cutting off the nose to spite the face, fuck. But his anger was total common sense, all these fuckers are getting my shit for free at click of a button damnit.Jmac Attack wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:14 amShows are going up because artists don't make jack with record sales anymore. What do you mean of all places? Ticketmaster isn't the place to go anymore? That's the only place I ever got tickets! Outside of someone giving them to me or summat.

God damn that's a lot of money for Duran Duran.
I missed the first 2/3ds of the Oscars last night, but was so glad I got to see the slap live. Both were totally in the wrong, but Will probably ruined his career, at least for a few years. What a shame too, because I was rooting for him to win, and now the slap overshadows his win.

Whoever wrote that joke for him was more in the wrong but he could of decided not to do it. Smith gets 99% of the blame for me though.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:35 amWhy was Rock in the wrong?DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:33 am God damn that's a lot of money for Duran Duran.

Alright then. I thought you were just trying to make me feel senile and antiquated. That's our word for the day, Tigg, antiquated. Rolls off the tongue nicely really.Tiggnutz wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:37 amI thought they were known for being more expensive but I guess notReign in Blood wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 8:31 am What do you mean of all places?
