"I'm surprised you haven't seen Raising Arizona, that always felt like Starter-Cage to me lol. Still one of my favorite Coen Brothers flicks."
Raising Arizona used to be my favorite movie I've seen it hundreds of times. I really ment I need to watch The Rock, Face Off and Con Air again because I've only seen them once. Nic is one of my favorites.

Re: April 22nd 2022
So my mother doesn't have much longer, according to those I've spoken to - perhaps two weeks, give or take.
I saw her tonight with my brother. Hopefully it's not the last time we see her, but she did want me to mention something to those of you here.
This is something some of you may have known or suspected, or perhaps not even thought about, but my mom is the member flyingspider here. She only really used this site during October - she likes watching horror movies and putting in a solid effort each time she participated. She wanted me to share her identity, and she specifically mentioned this site, so I wanted to do so.
She's not dead yet, but I believe she soon will be. I likely won't be too active here in the coming months, but it may be worth stopping by to talk if I have to. I doubt I'll be in much of a movie mood anytime soon.

I'm so sorry, Jig. Reading your post hit like a dagger in the heart. I don't have the words. Don't be a stranger my man, know we are here for you. I had no clue that flyingspider was your mom, but I always thought she was awesome and I absolutely love her popping onto the site. Just goes to show why, huh? She raised a fine lad. And she was so funny and sweet even in my emails with her, just trying to help her logon to the site and such. Again, I'm sorry my friend, stay strong, let me know if you need anything.

I'm sorry, man. I too had no idea Flyingspider was your mom either. She was one I wished came around more than just October.

I'm very sorry to hear, Jiggy. I didn't know Flyingspider was your mom. Loved having her on the site. Let me know if ya need anything, buddy.

I didn't know Flyingspider was your mom Jiggy. Sorry for this awful news.
Re: April 22nd 2022
I remember quite a few times you mentioning watching horror with her! I had no idea that was her! What a special thing to share. And not only that she pulled off a great plot twist! She sounds awesome which makes it even harder to hear this news. I am so sorry Jig. We are always here for you. *hugs*
Re: April 22nd 2022
I'm devastated for you, Jig. I wish I had something more to offer than condolences or kind words, but there's nothing that can be said that can make this any easier. I'll be thinking about you lots. I hadn't the slightest clue that flyingspider was your mom. I never knew that you had mentioned watching horror with her on here, otherwise I would've surely made the connection.Jigsaw wrote: ↑Sun Apr 24, 2022 7:37 pm So my mother doesn't have much longer, according to those I've spoken to - perhaps two weeks, give or take.

Let her know she was very well loved here, if you can.
