Friday at last and with a high of 84 degrees today.

All my days are blending together unfortunately. But at least I sort of know what day it is. Convicted felon stole a car a few weeks ago and drove it close to 100 mph through a red light (while being chased by cops) into mine while I was going through a green light, on my way home from work. Car was totalled. Engine in front pushed all the way over. Just getting short term memory back (I had a memory of about ten seconds) and concussion over with and starting to walk normal and heal. Did not know messed up muscles can hurt so bad. Was shipped to local trauma center. Did you know when in trauma they do not name you. I was given a nickname. They name you "Trauma" then a word that is next in line in the alphabet. They do that for safety since trauma can be gunshots, stabbings or can have multiple gangs being treated at same trauma center. You will never be called by your name during that stay. If someone calls they have to say the nickname to get your room. Found that interesting. Have not been outside really in weeks except for Dr. appts. Just now starting to walk somewhat normal. I did Frankenstein walk. Just been in bed. I was thinking of doing car themed MOTM picks but still too soon.

But in true Ava style....It had a hilarious moment. You see after work I stopped to get water jugs filled. So I placed 3 blue three gallon water jugs on floor of back seat (they tend to not tip over as much there). And I never saw him coming. Accident happened. I may have blacked out. When came around the engine in front was completely not where it was supposed to be. I could see and smell smoke. All of a sudden I hear this glug glug glug sound coming from behind me on the left. (the side with my gas tank) Like something was pouring. The movie freak in me connected the dots. Smoke, engine fire, pouring. It was going to blow up. That is all I could think. Well door was crushed in. And Even though the pain was horrible (I felt the car hit and was in pain immediately). I pushed. It didn't give. I pushed a few more times. Still hearing glug and thought... fuck. I'm going to blow up like in the movies! Like some Italian car bomb and end up like a Freddy melt if I do make it out. So on the third or fourth I just gave everything and it creaked open. I hobbled out. And was waiting for the explosion. That didn't happen. I am running on pure adrenaline was my guess at this point. I remember my heart pounding so hard it hurt. Minute goes by, nothing ...another minute. Then I realize what else would make that distinct sound. WATER JUGS!
It had to be the water jugs. They must have exploded on impact!
It was at that point adrenaline left and I went to pass out. This is what happens when movie fans get into an accident. I thought I was going out like a bad Deniro Cadillac job or the end result of a visit by The Wraith!

Holy shit Ava!!! Glad you are ok. So they caught the filth who hit your car?

Yeah. Since they were chasing him, they were there quick. First words after crash I heard were "I got the suspect" yelled out. He hit car in left lane at 100, hit me about 90 mph. His car flew through air after hitting me ,ejected him and two passengers then car went on to nail two more cars in parking lot. He only got a broken leg I believe.

Damn Ava. I was just about to praise that I finally got AT&T to come out and fix my internet line, but your sitch was so much worse lol.

And was even more happy last night when found out that at court yesterday his bail was set at $160,000!!
