Well, stuck going to jury duty tomorrow. At least they didn't wait until Friday to pull me in like the other times, but still. I hate losing work days, I can't cover this shit.

I have never gone to jury duty. I've gotten notices that I have been selected for it, but I just threw them away. Fuck that noise.

I've only been to Jury duty once and I'm 49. I'm pretty sure I got paid for the day I missed.

In California, your employer doesn't have to pay for jury duty. And we only get paid a measly 15 bucks a day plus travel mileage...if we are selected.
