Would be a 40 minute drive but there is a Terrifier 2 showing up north at 4pm. Must consider

Huh, thought Werewolf by Night was gonna be a series, not a one-shot. I'm gonna count it as part of the challenge, since we're not sticking to that 60-minute minimum anymore (not for many years it seems).

Sweet. Have fun. Hope your screening also has an after-credits interview with the director and Art the Clown too.

Happy you said that, as one of the movies I plan on watching later this month is 58 minutes, and I really didn't want to rewatch two minutes of it to count. :P

That said, I've heard pretty positive things about Werewolf By Night. Never had many issues of that series, but always found the issues I did have quite fun. I look forward to seeing it when able.

I can't think of a more violent, brutal, gory film that I've seen in theaters than Terrifier 2. Maybe seen anywhere

Just got to the clip you played from the film. Sounds atrocious, but I might throw that into my 2022 pool this upcoming January for the lulz.

I never liked the idea of "rewatching" minutes to make it an even 60.

It's not a series, it's a one-shot mini-movie.

About to start up The Ghost Cat and the Mysterious Shamisen, or Kaibyô nazo no shamisen, from 1938.

There weren't many horror movies from 1938 - I personally count The Terror, but some don't - so seeing one from the year, and delightfully subtitled on YouTube, should be fun.
