I watched The Banshees of Inisherin yesterday and man does it stick with you. I've never seen anything like it before.

It was different, for sure. For one, I love In Bruges and this was nowhere near as funny. Two, I don't like having to bust out the Encyclopedia to understand a movie, I just thought Gleeson was being a cunt. But that makes sense, if this is metaphor for the Irish Civil War, and Farrell is IRA and Gleeson is Free State, all movies I saw growing up like the Devil's Own showed the IRA as the cool ones and Free State as sell out cunts!
Definitely good as political metaphor masquerading as black comedy.

That depression and loneliness is the limp-wrist fist of the British constantly cunting everyone over.Tiggnutz wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 11:45 amI didn't even get any political metaphor i thought it was about depression and lonelinessReign in Blood wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 11:34 amIt was different, for sure. Not removing until John Elway is fired.
