Some good news. Though I know HMF has a history of being vocal about not giving a shit about awards (aside from a handful of members other than me, that is), I did find out I won a book award yesterday at Scribble's Worth for Best Cover of 2022. I wasn't even aware I was inconsideration, so the recognition feels nice, and all that hard work in doing everything myself is noticed.

Doesn't look like horror to me. Reminds me of What About Bob, but not a comedy, more focused on the mental side of things.

Watching the Golden Globes. I'm happy for Short Round's win, I was totally rooting for Angela Bassette since watching Black Panther 2, right from exiting the theater.
I'm amused I'm seeing two of my modern/MCU X-men casting choices on stage tonight: Glenn Powell (my Cyclops) presenting and Austin Butler (my Gambit) winning best actor for Elvis. I knew Fraser wasn't going to get Best Actor because he already said a while back he wasn't going to attend because of what their ex president did to him, so he likely wasn't going to get the support.

I don't know who this Jerrod Carmichael guy is that's hosting, but almost every joke I've seen him do has bombed. I liked his Kanye watching The Fablemans & turned his life around joke though.
