Back to work today after missing a week. Can't imagine this will be anything but pure misery. The place has a dark cloud of gloom hanging over it and everyone is in full panic.

I went through that with a previous company owned by asshats. They didn't even want to tell the employees they were gonna close the place, but one of the salespeople cornered one of the owners and he finally admitted it. Shit situation. Hope you come out of it ok.

My best friend at my job now used to work with me at another job years ago. One day we came to work and we were told that our company had been sold and everyone was losing their job. The worse part was we got to stay another 2 weeks to train the guys who would be taking our jobs. That was just fucking pitiful

Honestly I will be surprised if I get through the year. Best job I've ever had though and the longest,12 years.
