I found a discrepancy in the FEC's 1984 election results regarding Ohio's 17th district - despite the total vote count being listed as 230,661, the listed vote totals for the three candidates adds up to just 174,147. I think it's clear that the Republican, incumbent Lyle Williams, was shorted votes. Been looking for confirmation throughout the day.
