October 10th 2023
Last day of 4 day weekend is kinda sad but I do have a 3 day including a horror convention coming up next weekend
Re: October 10th 2023
I am sick as all hell. Barely surviving work. Sunday afternoon kicked my ass and I've been in hell ever since. Hope it's not the covie.
Vacation begins on the 14th and ends on Nov 8th so I'm finally getting a long needed break from work.

I've been getting a lot of headache/migraine spikes over the past couple weeks. Popping pain pills like candy, which then leads to nauseated stomach.
Times are fun.

Tylenol is basically my friend at this point. Since Sunday night I've had a persistent migraine and somehow chug through work. If I didn't have Tylenol I'd be a complete wreck. Trying to take EmergenC consistently too. I have a pretty bad cough but I feel like I'm on the uptick now. Still in hell for the most part, though.DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2023 9:26 pmI've been getting a lot of headache/migraine spikes over the past couple weeks. Top Care version of Excedrin Migraine has been keeping me almost at bay, but not 100% of the time.Jason wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2023 10:01 pmTylenol is basically my friend at this point. When I'm down with the sickies, especially the throat shit, one of the best things I've found to do is to gargle hot water with garlic salt. Especially in the mornings.

I need to avoid a lot of medicines due to risk of bleeding because I'm on bloodthinners as a precaution of the blood clot stuff. Aleve was my go to before the blood clot, but I can't take it anymore. Advil, ibuprofen and some others are off the table too. Haven't checked about Excedrin. Hydrocodone is ok though. Lmao.DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2023 10:13 pmTop Care version of Excedrin Migraine has been keeping me almost at bay, but not 100% of the time.Jason wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2023 10:01 pmTylenol is basically my friend at this point. I can't take Pepto Bismol either. I never really did, but one night my stomach was on fire so bad I just couldn't tough it out. Normally I'd tough it out, be up until like 6 or 7 in the morning and have a rough day the next day. Took Pepto and within 30 minutes I was almost back to normal. That thing works miracles.

Ooof, I don't know what I'd do without Pepto.
