Beyond the Door was a trip of a movie. The first half had me, i was dialed in. But the last act fell hard into exorcist rip off territory, and then the ending kicked me in my metophorical balls. 8/10
I meant to watch that one last year but never got around to it. It's on the agenda this year. Maybe tonight actually.

It's almost 3AM and I'm starting up One Dark Night (1982). New watch. Meg Tilly, Adam West. Same director as Jason Lives. A potential hidden gem here. Gonna be pretty tough to beat The Sentinel for new watch, though.
Not a hidden gem, by the way. Worst new watch so far. Lol

Revisited Don't Look in the Basement earlier today.
Still love the gritty feel of that one. It has it's problems, but I'm definitely a fan. Don't know if I have the heart to check out the 2015 sequel, though, even if it was directed by the son of the orignial's director.
Watching A Town Full Of Ghosts. I'm surprised they didn't take the opportunity to actually slap Amitiville on the title since Mark is basically doing the Lutz shit.

I didn't remember that one being good.
T'weren't. I was on a new watch streak to start the challenge, but that one really made me want to go back to the comfort movies of old. Alli had a pretty glowing reviewing of Beyond the Door which I've been meaning to get to this challenge. So I'll probably watch that one tonight and dive into the classics afterward. Best Buy had a surprise release of The Blob on steelbook today. So that was a pleasant surprise. It's from Scream Factory but there was no mention of it from them. Picked that one up and Wicker Man on steelbook. The Blob steelbook is probably next after Beyond the Door.
