I'm obviously no coffee connoisseur yet, but my wife buys the serious gourmet shit. She's got this fancy Nespresso machine (as well as a cream warming container) with pods that ship straight to us from the factory. They go into the machine with no filter to cleanup. Fucking delish.

For 3 straight years I would consistently average 3-5 hours sleep per night and work horrific hours including Saturdays half the time. Did all that without a drop of coffee and I'm now realizing I was probably superhuman. But I am no longer. lol. I have leaned into the coffee crutch.

Johnny Gaudreau passed away along with his brother. The face of the franchise for the Columbus Blue Jackets. Had a wife and two kids, killed by a drunk driver while the two were bicycling together the day before their sister's wedding. What a tragedy.

I have no pity for drunk drivers. I have got behind the wheel when I shouldn't have a handful of times and fortunately never had any incidents but if I had I would deserve whatever happened to me. That dude should be locked away for a long time

I was watching For Love of the Game for the first time last night and a Roy Orbison song played in the background briefly and I made a note to look it up today when I went to bed. Never heard it before. I looked it up a couple hours ago and I've played it around ten times already. There hasn't been a new song I discovered that made me feel this good about it in probably more than a decade. It is just music to my fuckin ears. It's call The Only One, and I can't stop hitting repeat.
