Yeah, but let's not pay attention to King's praising until AFTER it comes out lol. He praises everything now until it comes out then his real opinion would come along (I recall this happening with Dark Tower)
This!

Nothing will beat the original Salem's Lot film for me. I didn't care for the other remake they did and I doubt I will care much for this one.
As for The Dark Tower, I enjoyed it for what it was worth. Mainly because of Matthew's performance.

After reading the book, the Needful Things movie falls flat in about every possible way.

Certainly it's a respected movie, and it's just my opinion - I also felt the 1408 movie was an abomination compared to the short story - but there you are.
