I couldn't tell you how many times I've seen ANOES or Halloween, or Halloween 4 or Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. Some of these movies I saw as a kid growing up, and unlike today, I didn't keep a detailed listing of each movie I watch (I have such a list for most horror films I've seen since 2016).
Like, for Children of the Corn (1984), I could guess that I've seen it maybe seven times, but there's no real way to know. All I know for sure is I last watched it 10/16/2019

I'm not saying it is. I'm saying I don't really have a guess. Maybe ANOES? It's one of those movies that I know I've seen at least eight times. But I just can't say for sure. Have I seen it more than Halloween? *shrugs* I have no idea.zombie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 6:27 pmwell i don't need an exact number, but i guess i get the idea. if children of the corn is your favorite horror flick, so be it! let your flag fly inbetweeb the rows!Jigsaw wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 6:23 pmThis is exceptionally hard for me to answer.

Re: November 2, 2024
And on rewatching movies.
It's important to understand that I'm just sometimes not in a horror mood. I've gone months without watching horror films. October probably makes up 70% of every horror movie I see in a given year, if not more. It just depends on other things.
Given that fact, I don't have the luxury of going back and watching movies I liked on repeat until I get through other films I need to watch and review. The only reason I watched I Saw the TV Glow twice is because I didn't get a review written the first time I watched it. If I had, I wouldn't have watched it again so soon.
And if this is sounding over-complicated, this is just my thought process. I can't help it.

No, because if I don't get it done before the election, I won't be able to focus on it afterward. I have some county-by-county data I want to start collecting once the results for the election are finalized.zombie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 6:38 pmthe 4th isn't so bad. i thought you were talking weeks at least by the way you were talking.Jigsaw wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 6:37 pmI can cobble something together, but it's not an instant process. You guys all suck. My horror movie consumption has never been lower and it was easy as fuck for me to make my list. I probably forgot like two movies I’ll edit in later. Oh noooo. Grow up!

One fence straddler we don't talk about, that I actually have one copy of in my horror section (and one in action), is From Dusk Till Dawn, what say ye? That movie is amazing and imo more worthy of the talk than some others.

from dusk till dawn is a fence straddler? i don't recall anyone ever making a fuss about it's qualification.

Obviously From Dusk Till Dawn is horror in my view. It wouldn't be in my top 250, let alone top 50, though.
