Don't know what it is, It's not universal because both Terminator and Judge Dredd have issues, but RoboCop's one liners never get old to me. I could recite "Drop it, scum" "Freeze, slimeball" "Dead or Alive? Dead then" "You have the right to remain silent, dirtbag" in the Robo voice all day and be happy.

i think it must all come down to weller? had he been in those other films, you'd be all over it.

I know you and I have discussed this before but it's just a damn shame WB had to fuck it all up. I have zero interest in James Gunn's BS reboot shit.

i do not share this mentality. his suicide squad was far better than the snyderverse attempt!

Guardians 1 was the only movie of his that I have liked and even then it was mediocre.

that is a bummer.

I just don't care for him as a director. I mean Zach is one of my all time favorite directors, he's right there with John Carpenter and Ridley Scott. Hard to compete with that.

What did you think of his Rebel Moons? I've heard literally no one talk of them at all, seems weird.

I think I graded them here, but they were low-mediocre range. I did wait to see part 2 before properly grading the first because it was obviously split in half, but very-very meh at best.
