And to top it off he did it in front of his parents Brothers Sisters and kids.. not cool and I do not feel bad for turning him down in front of them all either
That is incredibly fast.

I hate to be the one to ask, but is he fishing for a green card? I don't know if Texas' illegal immigration's as bad as California's (I paid no attention to such thing when I lived there as a kid)
I see Luna shot this down, but holy shit I never would've thought of that. Good catch.

Men tend to fall easier than women do. I'd go easy on him, but make it abundantly clear that you want the slow process. I think he'll make the adjustment.

I bought an absolutely bitchin- BITCHIN "keyboard" today. I use the term "keyboard" loosely because this thing looks and plays like a true piano. 88 keys, none of that 60/66/76 key nonsense. All 88 keys, weighted, and it responds to the amount of pressure you put on the keys. This thing feels identical to the 10,000 dollar piano I used to jam to every now and then at the old music store we used to have. Ran me a couple hundred bucks, but it sure beats paying 5 figures, and it sounds like the real thing. Plus I never have to tune the sumbitch! It gets LOUD, too. The speakers are excellent. Vibrates the walls if I turn it up loud enough. Has a headphone jack that cancels out the speakers if I ever want to play quietly or listen closer to the notes I'm playing on the weighted keys. I'm gonna be busy with this thing for a long time. :p

Oh, and it came with the foot pedals, too. Really opens up the possibilities of what you can do with it.

The entire process of getting her here takes up to a year. We still have to do interviews and such with the embassies.

It's one of those things that kinda pisses you off when people are fighting for illegals to stay here while busting our balls. Presumably she would be a productive member of our society as a dentist. I have a job. No kids involved. No criminal history. Evidence we have been together multiple times, thousands of pages of chat and pictures. Using immigration attorneys.

But someone sneaking across the border with no skills...we gotta fight for them!

legal should be the way to go. illegal should not be incentivized. pretty simple.
