NFL Offseason, 2017

All sports. We don't even mind if its women's Curling or junior badminton. Although we won't have strong opinions on the latter.

Makes the people who whine about ESPN's politics look pretty stupid tbh

Liberals are throwing a fit.

"Hank Jr. apparently not too racist for ESPN anymore".
Lol
"Hank Jr. brought back from hell, but Kaepernick can't get signed".

I don't give a shit, I am just glad we will be hearing Hank before football on Monday nights. Fuck, we gotta hear Garry Glitter in the background, and he fiddled little boys or summat.

Maclin is a nice pickup for the Ravens and I hear they are still in play for Decker as well.

Not sure the Titans break through this year, but they definitely have the brightest future in that division. Mariota is great.

I like Mariota. He needs a lot of work.

Natural accuracy and ball placement already there. Reads the field so quickly. Has already mastered manipulating defenses with his eyes. Just needs experience.

His deep ball is god awful. He has certainly not mastered manipulating defenses.

Other than that, he's fine. Still no Winston.

I like Winston better long term, but Mariota is way further along right now. Best eye manipulation QB in the league, prime Romo-esque. You're right he's not a great downfield thrower, but he's an assassin at looking off LBs and safeties and firing the ball into windows vacated by those defenders 10-15 yards in the middle of the field. Frequently no-looks his passes just to create extra space in the passing window. He's mastered that.

You could make an extensive highlight film of Mariota basically crossing over LBs and safeties all over the field with his eyes. It's pretty special.

Don't know where you're gathering that. I typically see him waiting for the go-to to get open.

You have to watch All-22 film to consistently see eye manipulation, TV angles and perspectives make it almost impossible to see. I've never seen a QB weaponize his eyes the way Mariota does. He stares down defenders just long enough for them to create the amount of space he needs and then he fires the ball to his WR. Frequently no-look passes like a point guard taking advantage of 2-on-1s. That's his game. Take out one defender on every play.

I guess I'm too much of a casual fan, because I don't see any of that shit with Mariota. I like the kid, don't see him being the next coming of Luck, in which I didn't see being that great to begin with.
