[Dream]

Ugh.


Going back to work tonight and hoping it goes well. What was a bruise about the size of a quarter on my cheek is now completely covering from under my eye down to my jaw, made for a fun time at the grocery store this morning. Though I have to say, it made me feel good about the people around me, I had a few people stop me and ask me if I was okay, pretty sure they thought I got beat up

Can I just say "fuck daylight savings"? Lost an hour of my time this weekend. How about we turn it back again in fall and just not fuck with it? Or an even better idea, when we turn it forward, turn it forward in the middle of the work week so we're closer to the weekend.

Excited. The one beta reader who actually does beta reading for other people (for novels) a lot, already gave me very positive feedback and suggestions (suggestions as in...wanting to know more about these characters, and maybe change a piece of dialogue that could set SJW's off in this climate). I was concerned with her because she's the most experienced and apparently known for criticism.

Nice! I have to admit that I'm super anxious about actually reaching out to beta readers. It's one of those "need to know what to improve, but terrified everything sucks" situations
