It's not bad, but there are definitely better classic westerns out there.

Watch Hondo.

Need to revisit, but I remember it as one of the better classic ones. One of my top 10's.

Rio Bravo and The Searchers are my favorite pre-1960s westerns.
Not removing until John Elway is fired.

I love Emma Stone but it didn’t sound like her singing or like she could dance. Making it a very weird casting choice. Bit like Russel Crowe in ales Miserables.

She won an Oscar for that. I also love her she can make anything watchable.

The acting was good, and I did like the singing. It just didn’t feel like her. She’s got a fairly husky sexy voice and the singing was very dainty. Maybe it was her and she sings different to how she talks but it was incongruous for me. Still very watchable. Just weird casting in my eyes.

Her and Ryan Gosling work well together very good chemistry.

Crazy, Stupid Love is one of my all time favorites mainly due to them and Steve Carrell. Doesn’t hurt to have one of the greatest twist scenes in a comedy of all time.

Watching Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II (1987) for the second time.

Remember liking this one quite a bit more than the first one, and thus far, it's holding up.

Actress Beth Gondek, who's character I'm sure is about to die, had a pretty damn strong scene. Shame she's basically not done anything else.

I remember really liking it when I was a teen. I haven't seen it since. Prom Night.....I am pretty sure I saw it, and I think I didn't like it at the time. I might have to watch both of those soon.

Out of the four Prom Night films (I know - I can't believe there are four either), I've seen the first two.

Always had lukewarm thoughts on the first one (after seeing it four times, I still give it around a 6.5/10, or just below average). Second one is holding up well thus far, though I'm only 40 minutes in.

Can't say I'm that interested in the third film, at least based off the plot, but the fourth does sound pretty fun (despite being from the early 90's, a somewhat dismal time for horror).

Didn't think much of the first, but haven't watched it in a really really long time to have a fair assessment of it. II was pretty crap. Not dogshit, but maybe catshit that already had the benefit of rolling around in Arm & Hammer baking soda.

I will give it props for one thing - for a slasher, it did have a pretty emotional ending. Good song paired with it, too.

Other than that, I generally find it a pretty dull and tedious affair with a few good dance scenes.
