DRAFT chat

All sports. We don't even mind if its women's Curling or junior badminton. Although we won't have strong opinions on the latter.

18 rounds, 11 starters, 7 subs. But can of course add another round or two if you want it. :D

Someone get TIgg on the horn so we can wrap this bad boy up. :)

When can we start drafting offensive linemen?
We haven't even started on the long snappers.

God dammit Tigg I was going to pick the Ravens defense, start them in Week 1 and then hand them over to you. Rude.

I gotta say, being either the snake pick or pick right before/after that pick is a much better experience for drafts like this one than being in the middle

That's Tigg's pick! I picked Le'Veon Bell, Joe Mixon and Pat Mahomes for you.

I have the "bad boy" team. Ezekiel Elliott suspended 6 games last year, Odell caught on camera with cocaine, Edelman and Ingram both suspended 4 games for juicing, Gordon was suspended for 20 year and is a druggie. Garoppolo is taking porn stars out on public dates etc. It's a fun team for sure.

And then Philip Rivers just talking shit to everyone 24/7. We'll ignore that Russell Wilson is one of the most uninteresting people on the planet.

The one thing I can say is that the 6 team draft is a lot more fun than the old 10-12 was. The last rounds back then were like guessing which unknown 4th string WR was likely to serve as a decent backup for the one good receiver you had during his bye week. :D

It's more challenging with a bigger group but at least you can look at your roster in this one and not hate it

I genuinely find it more fun and fascinating this way. As you say, some of the rosters are pretty deep.

I'd say more fun for sure, but big leagues I find more interesting on a week-to-week basis. With a big league you don't have the luxury of just picking the obviously superior players to play, you have to look at matchups to decide between unreliable guys.
