Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread 2018
Street Trash was a lot of fun, though I really need to rewatch that one, as I only saw it once.
Encounter with the Unknown (1972) was my favorite movie of the day - I could fit in another one, but I'm only aiming for 90, and I only wanted two movies today to begin with.
If you're a fan of 70's style horror, and don't mind a slower speed or a lower quality, Encounter with the Unknown might be something you want to look into.

And put "Rememberin' (How It Used to Be)" by Becky Fain on my list of songs from horror films that are impossible to find online.

Final movie of the night on a much higher note than when the day began..The Paperboy..not too bad! Well, I liked it, and that is all that matters, I guess.

Never heard of 1982's Trick Or Treats, but it has Carrie Snodgress in it, which is only significant because I just finished watching Carrie's last film, The Forsaken, lol.

This director has a ton of porn on his resume (under the name Robert McCallum)...and he wouldn't show this blonde naked in the shower?

The crazy hell parts of Baskin were alright, everything else was easy to see coming right from the beginning and didn't really save the film from all the hype it had at that time.Jigsaw wrote:Haven't seen either. I know havok liked Baskin, or at least I think I recall that, but I've not really heard much about Revenge. I'd personally lean Baskin, but what do I know?
