The October Challenge Discussion Thread 2018
Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread 2018
I'll never understand why so many low budget horror movies feel the need to include lots of fecal matter. (yeah, I know, I'm a candyass)

Candyass reviews. I could have my own youtube channel. I love the over the top gore of low budget horror, but the shit is gross.Tiggnutz wrote:You should do trailers Monster because you hooked me with one sentenceTiggnutz wrote:Now it's on the must see list lolMonster wrote:I'll never understand why so many low budget horror movies feel the need to include lots of fecal matter. Let Her Out- It had some nice gross out moments but the only part that was even interesting was the first five minutes. *sighs*
Re: The October Challenge Discussion Thread 2018
Onto Night of the Seagulls.
I hope this isn't just killer seagulls. I could see killer swan. Those things are assholes.

Four horsemen riding scene would be better with Metallica playing.
I know they are supposed to be badasses doing horrible things like dragging people off, but their white coats are pristine. They must hit that Clorox hard when they are done raping and pillaging.

Night of the Seagulls sponsored by Heinz ketchup.
I did like the way they made that heart beat in his hands.

I'm going in blind on movies this year. No Netflix (dropped it). Using Shudder, Pluto, Youtube, Crackle and Frightpix.

They're affiliated. Same director with all of them. I don't think they are sequels or have continuity, though. Much like Romero's Living Dead series. I've only seen Tombs of the Blind Dead, and it was really surprisingly good. I bought the box set with all four movies some years back, and it is awesome looking.Ava wrote:Are they sequels?Jason wrote:Be sure to check out Tombs of the Blind Dead, Return of the Evil Dead and Ghost Galleon.Ava wrote:Onto Night of the Seagulls.

Just peeked...Shudder has the Return of the Evil Dead. Might watch next if this goes good.
So far I like the atmosphere.

I was gonna recommend picking up the box set because it is so bitchin, but it's out of print and going for almost 200 dollars. lol. I paid like 30.Ava wrote:*made note*Jason wrote:They're affiliated.
