Not at all. While I put effort into not fucking with my discs, some are just prone to getting scratches frequently just by simply being played. Especially dual-sided discs. Mine looks like a dog got a hold of it though.

Also, the boyfriend of one of the girls is NOT anywhere as funny as many early reviews claimed, saying he steals the show (he doesn't, but I blame those early reviewers and not the movie for that).

Are we talking "funny" like the stoner from Cabin in the Woods or Matthew Lillard in Scream? Because I feel like characters like that are just a bunch of tryhards and really not all that funny.

At least Lillard delivered in the serious moments, "Why'd you hit me with the phone, dick!".

I understand using IMDb to dictate what is and isn't horror (though as was pointed out before, some films that obviously should be referred to as horror aren't, such as Passed the Door of Darkness), but just using google?

I have a very liberal definition of horror (though not as liberal as some others here, I suspect), but movies like Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus, the Goosebumps film, I personally feel are a stretch.

When someone tried to throw on Jurassic Park as a horror film, I distinctly recall internally losing my shit.

Halloween is Grinch Night is only about 26 minutes, so even if it could be counted as horror, it's too short to count for the challenge.

I did find Lillard hilarious. His stuff still holds up, to me. I didn't really laugh at the stoner guy in Cabin In The Woods.
