Homemade spaghetti is fine. Anywhere else is pretty bad. Tryhard spaghetti is not good spaghetti. Italian sausage is good on pizza.
Old Spaghetti Factory is pretty crap, but I love Vince's Spaghetti. That's the only restaurant spaghetti I actually like.
What the heck is Old Spaghetti Factory? Is that like a branch of cheesecake factory? Must be west coat thing.

I don't go to those usually, but it was little gal's birthday choice and she wanted a japanese hibachi style place so she could eat a mountain of fried rice and shrimp. I can't decide whether the lady on my right was a rude bitch or I am just too much of a psychopath to sit next to strangers. She seriously sat down and drew a line with her arm and told me not to cross it. That this was HER space and banged her arm on the table. Who does that? :? I didn't even know what to say to her. I was just caught off guard that someone would do that. She was probably in her 70's and proceeded to go on and on about how great Boston is. Then she proceeded to throw a shit fit when I crossed her line and reached for the soy sauce for my daughter. I seriously loathe people sometimes. Oh, and she tried to take the veggies I ordered (all I ordered was veggies) and told the hibachi guy off when he didn't give her any. She didn't even order them. I loathe people right now. Anyone else ever have this happen? Sheesh! *goes back to challenge watching*
Uh, the person who does that is the person getting tormented by me for the duration of their meal. "Hey, can you show me where the line is again? I forgot!"

I guess it is. I know Texas has them, but I don't know if they're any further.

Like most cuisines, I imagine it depends on what you are exposed to within it, but I find italian to be among the safest bets in terms of even bad is not so bad. Bad pizza and spaghetti can usually be salvaged with the shit on the table, at least. Parm, red pepper flakes, and oregano can go a long way.

I have had some pretty bad mexican, especially since starting the take out place as I have been seeking lots of it out to taste. Dry tortilla, dry meat, and the only way to address it is with a terrible tasting sauce they made.

Also am a big fan of a good carbonara or pesto. Have given lots of thought about making 1 pound meatballs on the food truck.

It was. I even kept my elbows tucked in tight to me the whole time I ate because I was afraid that somehow I would violate her airspace and set the crotchbag off again.

My sister makes a mean lasagna but for some reason she only makes it for a funeral though. Someone has to die just to get a slice... :P
