What in world was Universal thinking when they decided to redo all these classic monsters as action movies? Any random person on the street could've told them what a terrible idea that was. You'd think at least one person involved would've realized it.

Ok, spent Tuesday and half of Wednesday in the hospital, and left for the first time in my "hospital career" AMA..I have things I need to do tomorrow morning. Taking the rest of the evening off to well..rest.
Starting in again, (finally) with either Puppet Master or Killjoy...tomorrow...Opinions on either one?? And yes, I am feeling much better, even in the short period of time I was there and escaped pneumonia, this time around, I
was lucky.

Interesting how times change. If this movie were made today, the characters who were the heroes back in 1955 would be the villains.

Puppet Master is a lot of fun. Not sure about Killjoy. It didn't look like something I would watch, but I have been wrong before.

The Mummy's Hand is a really underrated flick. More fun action/adventure than horror though. Probably more of an inspiration for the Brendan Fraser one than the 1932 movie.
Not removing until John Elway is fired.

My top two Jerry Goldsmith music scores came out of 1982. Poltergeist ranks 2nd, right behind his First Blood score.
