Finished watching Alena. Big ball of meh. The subtitles drove me nuts too. Big difference between loose and lose!

If you come home to find your place all tore apart and a suitcase in your fridge...would you open it? (just happened in movie)

I don't think I could resist....

Everyone can die in this film and I wouldn't care. Oh, except the morgue worker who keeps stuffing his face while working. Sick fuck. I like him.

Checking out the Holland interview on my Scream For Help Blu Ray. He sincerely believes if he got Richard Franklin to direct this (they worked on Psycho II) instead of Link at the same time, people would remember Scream For Help and not The Stepfather. I'm almost inclined to agree, but Terry O'Quinn was pretty iconic.

Are we not talking about Inferno still? I was under the impression that it's pretty visuals and good music were the only things people agreed on about that one lol.

If I recall correctly, Goblin was split at the time.

Speaking of music, man I found John Paul Jones' music over the top and hammy in Scream for Help, and I've forgotten about it till now, lol. I do vaguely recall a good groove track somewhere in the movie, but I'll see if that holds up when I'm done with the interviews.

Yeah, John Paul Jones' music does not age well. Hell, it's like a 70's soap opera lol.

But the rocking track when she's trying to follow her step father on day 2 was still pretty good. Shame the rest isn't.
