Now that I'm a few drinks back, celebrating the JigHeadTigg birthday party, and waxing poetic, I have to say that my favorite thing I've done is start the Halloween Challenge (full disclosure, I totally stole from the IMDb Horror board). We bitch and yap at each other about a lot of shit, these days it more so in the politics boards. But for one month, most of us come together, and blissful conversation takes place. I wish I could contribute more to my creation, best I've ever done is 50 total, but I read all the posts, and you guys busting out 50+ movies is inspirational. And through it, we talk to each of us, all of which have varying styles, what to watch and what to just shitcan. I don't know, it's a beautiful thing, to me.

Maybe we should do it for Christmas with Xmas theme horror movies or summat. I dunno.

Twelve days of Horror. Not as huge of a selection though, so I'll likely be cycling the same stuff every year.

I would like to contribute more. I liked writing those articles for the newsblog that got Mr. D to poopy his diaper. Also enjoyed doing the soda reviews. The marathon stuff is hard for me to do, because I want to win but don't have the time at the moment, but I like reading everyone else's.

I first joined HMF in 2009 (I remember, because it was a month or two before the '09 October Challenge), so I've almost known you guys for ten years. Utterly mind blowing.

You can one day join Jason in the "We have known you for half your life" club.

I think I'm still the new guy, relatively speaking. 6 years last month. I don't contribute much but I love reading what you all post. A lot of the banter is downright hysterical.

I don't even think it takes a year. A month or two of solid chatting and you're on your way, you're in within 6 months.

Same here. And now I'm back to barely participating. I still remember getting involved in the xj trial, talking b-movies with FredSaxon, and the start of the daily chats. Makes me feel fucking old.
