Objectively, Curry is #1 and it isn't close, really.
Not a single MVP award between any of the other guys listed

I actually don't hate on Curry as much as the others, he is top 5.

Also, Korver is the most bizarre comparison I've ever heard. All Korver can do is catch and shoot, nothing else in his skill set. Steph is the best shooter off the dribble in basketball history and has the second best handles in the league behind Kyrie Irving.
If anything, Klay is Korver as they're both off the catch specialists you don't want dribbling.

Re: NBA Playoffs
Oh Westy is gonna get his. Personally, I find Harden more deserving but whatever. Even with the triple double average by Westbrook this year, what Steph did to win the MVP last year was unbelievable. Up there with the best Shaq, LeBron etc. seasons.Reign in Blood wrote:WestGoat gonna get his in days, fucker!Headhunter wrote:Only 2x MVP and 2x champ on the list, hater.Reign in Blood wrote:Andddd we're done.Headhunter wrote:Boys, those lists are fucking terrible. If you're being real, I'm not sure how you could argue Steph lower than #2? Chris Paul and John Wall are great all around PGs but Steph's shooting is the most impactful weapon in the game. Creates space all over the floor for his teammates, which is just as good as putting up 10-12 assists. Westbrook is the only PG I'll concede an argument for.

Unless you can come up with a counter, you really can't call it ridiculous. Numbers show he's the best shooter in NBA history but I want to be fair because he isn't the best off the catch shooter I've ever seen although he's still very good at it.Reign in Blood wrote:Really, really? Who's your counter? Best shooter off the dribble you've ever seen? I don't think anybody is close.

Re: NBA Playoffs
My take: Lillard is the only one who can hit threes off the dribble like Steph. Guys like KD, Melo, CP3 are great shooters off the dribble...inside the three point line. Same with Kobe and MJ when they played.
Lillard is a career 37% three point shooter, Curry is 44%. Not really close.

Re: NBA Playoffs
The guy who hit about five threes a year at a rate below 30% was a better off the dribble shooter than a guy who can make five threes in a half? 3 points > 2 points, we have a math problem here.Reign in Blood wrote:Doc J.Headhunter wrote:Unless you can come up with a counter, you really can't call it ridiculous.
