One of the only famous individuals who actually meant something to me. Great shame. Loved his various cameos.

On the one hand I guess it’s a bit sad when anyone dies. But on the other hand he’s 95 and has loved his dream so hard to be too sad about it considering.

So many Stan cameos, my favorite will have to be Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2, simply because it related to a Watcher joke I've been claiming for years.

Saw Bohemian Rhapsody last night. Pretty darn good. Can't believe they dropped Wayne's World in it. Lol. So funny. Only Wayne's World fans would've caught it.

They left out how The Show Must Go On came to be. Really wish they would have touched based on that. You hear it in the credits, though.

They also left out The Works album (awesome album, imo), and pretended the band was on a breakup during that time before Live Aid (along with changing when Freddy knew he was HIV positive, which was way after Live Aid).

I've ready about too many inaccuracies in the movie, it's killed my interest. I'll see it on Netflix or something.

That was why Sasha left, because at the time, the project was only going to half half the movie with Freddie, then the second half after Freddie died. It seems like they've changed that since.

Brian May held production hostage until it turned out a safe, sanitized puff-piece he could use to market another tour. He's a piece of work.
Not removing until John Elway is fired.

I actually get using creative license to put the HIV diagnosis before their most iconic performance, ups the drama and makes for a better story and all that jazz. It's a lot of the other shit they changed (like you said) and the paint-by-numbers biopic approach I've heard about that has killed my interest.

It's in my top songs of all time, let alone Queen. You can hear him pouring his soul into that song....while sick as fuck and dying. He is singing about how his future death is not about him at all. He is telling others to just live their life and not worry about him. Fucking epic.

Sasha Baron Cohen was supposed to do a movie about Freddy years ago. But he wanted it to delve into some of the dark stuff. I think you're right, in that Brian May didn't allow it or something like that.

That is the problem with licensed biopics in general. There is too much money to be made still from the music, so you will always get a commercially tilted story.
