I never got through the first season, maybe halfway, but i hear other seasons are much better. I haven't really given it a shot to continue.

Didn't know that. Meh. George Miller created Happy Feet, didn't stop me from loving his other work.

The difference there is that Miller did good shit before doing kid shit. And even the kid shit is supposed to be good(never saw Babe or Happy Feet, so can't say personally). This guy's claim to fame is a show about kids singing. That's not to say someone like that can't make something good, but it certainly doesn't give off a vote of confidence for future endeavors.
