Me too. But the evolved character is believable and very well done.

Drago must break all, not be sympathetic.

But his walker makes him so much more lovable. Cute, really.

I refuse to see Drago in a broken down state. It will ruin the image everyone has had of him for 30+ years.

Creed II ........ A-
Green Book .... A

Yeah, as Duke said in Rocky IV, he's not a machine, he's a man. So Ivan's fleshed out more, he's still an icy beast. Not as good as the first Creed, and I think this new director just doesn't have an eye for really nailing the fights down like Coogler and Sly can (I really wish Sly directed this one), and it's awfully dark. Not thematically, but like Solo, it was just shot too dark.

Green Book is an excellent road flick. I was hesitant of an A+ grade, so I'll settle for A for now. Viggo's my front runner for Best Actor so far this year, and I wouldn't be surprised if Ali takes the Supporting Actor Oscar again. Surprising that this was directed by 1/2 of the Dumb & Dumber team (Peter Farrelly).

Just finished Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh. Not terrible, but somewhat unnecessary sequel. Haven't seen it in some years, but I can't imagine I thought much better of it last few times I saw it.

I thought Candyman 2 was pretty damn good. Now the third was unnecessary.

I don't remember 2 or 3. I know I've seen them, but I'm drawing a total blank.

Only thing I remember about 3 is that not even Tony Todd could save it.

Well I just saw Creed II but because the movies have Czech subtitles I have no idea what the Dragos were saying to each other, so their family dynamic kinda went over my head. Pretty good movie.
