Whoever orders concrete late on a Friday afternoon/evening should be drug into the street and shot. Doesn't help that all the work is done for the day except this one, I'm waiting two hours to get loaded because of the time slot they want it, and after the job I have an hour plus drive back to my plant, and another hour drive back home. And I probably work Saturday, but you never know until the evening because that's just how shit is around here.

Oh, and I did get a tax increase on my last check.

Home from a 5 hour working job interview. That was rough. Been 2 days of interviewing for this place.
So stupid happy. I thought Joe Bob Briggs was doing the Silent Night marathon but he is rolling through all the Phantasms!!!

I just got home from a long ass Friday, and hooray! I get five hours sleep tonight because I have to work all day Saturday! Thanks for the notice, guys! Appreciate!

I'm just gonna have to give them an ultimatum. I need two days off. I know I signed up for possible 6 days a week. But I had a choice between two spots in the company, transporting the material or driving the mixer. I took the mixer because with transport I'd have to commute really far, and there is a mixer plant right next to my house. They agreed, then fucked me over after training and sent me to a different plant. I lose two hours of my life every day because of the commute, and about 260 dollars a month in fuel cost. Been here for two years now waiting to transfer. The company has ads all over our trucks saying they're hiring, with 50 immediate openings. 50 immediate openings, and you're telling me not one of the new hires will be put at the plant I TOOK THE JOB to get?

I need two days off, a transfer, or I'm walking to the rival company.
