That was about a 60 yard throw with a flick of the wrist. Dude had the strongest arm I've ever seen. During one of the QB challenges in the 90s when Elway was about to retire he was slung it well over 80 yards.
I didn't know about the ACL, but I do remember how much of an asset his pigeon-toed movement ended up being. Made him so elusive, so easy to change direction. When his dad Jack first noticed the pigeon-toed walk he recalled giving up on him ever becoming an athlete.
One of my favorite nonsensical NFL tropes is the natural assumption that big, tall guys = big arms and shorter guys = weaker arms. Brock Osweiler was consistently tagged as having a "big arm" coming into the draft and that shit is weak as shit. It never even looked strong in college. lol

He got kicked out of a club once and told the bouncer "I'mma get my AK and spray this place up". At Clemson, his buddy hit a parked car in a parking lot and he threatened to beat up the owner of the damaged car. This is one of the reasons he ended up having to transfer. Got into a fight at a high school game.
So..there's serious growing up problems there. But honestly, nothing malicious as far as I can tell. He grew up an entitled brat and probably a bit of a wigger, but I like what I've ever heard from him this summer and I think the growth is real. Was a GREAT pick by Denver.
Btw, Von Miller is holding a camp at Stanford for young pass rushers in the NFL and he's been coaching them up the last few days. Paid for their housing and transportation, His growth from potential head case into one of the NFL's great leaders is nothing short of incredible. Three years ago, he was literally a drug dealer. Not kidding.
