Horror fans panning a bad movie is the definition of irony in my opinion you still watch it just because

I don't know, I can tolerate some pretty bad horror films, because it's a genre I love, but a shitty action or sci-fi film that I couldn't give a crap about, it seems fair to bash.

Start at Dr. No and if you don't want to watch anymore than that's up to you but at least give Dr. No a try

I would say give Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger and Thunderball the time of day. If you ain't feelin' those four, just stop. But the entire series is good apart from four shitty ones. One of them being Diamonds Are Forever which Headward praised while simultaneously bashing Golden Eye.

Diamonds are Forever is a piece of shit, but at least Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd are weird enough to make you question what the hell you're watching and break up the formulaic, riff-raff nature of much of the series.

Dudes, truth time, though I've only seen Basket Case once, I really didn't care for it.

Hope that when I get around to rewatching it that I'll see in it what most horror fans do

I honestly prefer the sequels to the first one. They are just plain over the top zany, where the first is a bit slow(though still good).

I really liked 2.
