Okay, definitely see why the kid is more memorable now. He gets to do the fish-out-of-water bit with a big dash of trauma.

The first half I didn't think was all that super special, but the second half is engaging as fuck.

Room was much better than I expected (I expected just good but redundant captivity stuff) but it was excellent. Yes, Brie is great in it, even if Jacob gets to outshine her (he's pretty much there for every scene, where Ma is gone for chunks at a time, so it's his movie). Hopefully she can deliver more like that, rather than just paycheck it.

Some quick observations

1) She rhymed "this is not where I wanna be" with "la dee da, la dee deeee"
2) She actually dropped those burgers on the ground and still served them. Unsanitary!
3) She has no ass.
