Man, they do not kill off characters as often as they used to. So many survivors there.

Re: Game Of Thrones
It was surprising more people didn't die. I expected those that did, but was expecting more, too.showa58taro wrote:Man, they do not kill off characters as often as they used to. So many survivors there.

Re: Game Of Thrones
I expected Brienne (thought her being knighted and looking so happy about it was kinda the perfect end to her character arc) and Jaime.

Re: Game Of Thrones
Jaime still has business with Cersi

Re: Game Of Thrones
Brienne, Tormund, Podrick, Sansa, and Greyworm were all ready to go in my book. And possibly Gilly too. Plus the ones that did die too of course.

True but this show has been all about saying "fuck you" to the idea of closure. At least it was.

That’s what I mean, they’ve lost a bit of that “what the fuck!” About who they kill.

Re: Game Of Thrones
Another thing that makes me wonder how all this stuff would be written by Martin because maybe it comes across differently, less forced and convenient. It can't be helped that he's enjoying a steady diet of cocaine, hookers and cheesesteaks and I wouldn't write another word if I were him, but the writing has been night and day the past few seasons from the stuff taken from his books. And I haven't read any of them but it's so clear.showa58taro wrote:That’s what I mean, they’ve lost a bit of that “what the fuck!” About who they kill.

Was it badly filmed? As an episode

A little more light would have been nice for the 96 million they spent on it.showa58taro wrote:Was it badly filmed? As an episode

Re: Game Of Thrones
It was worse at the start for me, not so much that it was dark, but there was so much banding going on (hard edges instead of smooth gradients) it was very hard to see what was going on. I figured it was because everyone was streaming at the same time.

Re: Game Of Thrones
Definitely think it suffered from some of the problems with AvP where there’s a ton going on but it’s got dark lighting and very few easily discernible victims or attackers. Especially in the early goings for it.

Was Bran warging just to lead the night king to him? Because if there was another purpose it ceased at some point during the whole Raven flying by a dragon thing, no?

That's actually what I think he was doing, using himself as bait.showa58taro wrote:Was Bran warging just to lead the night king to him? Because if there was another purpose it ceased at some point during the whole Raven flying by a dragon thing, no?

Re: Game Of Thrones
Lol. I kept saying “Theon is gonna Kill the night king!” And Ceri told me to shut up. Valiant last stand by Theon though. Glad he got some redemption to is story.Headhunter wrote:Could have told Theon to wait a minute

Re: Game Of Thrones
I’m hoping that’s how that works. Otherwise why didn’t he become the ice dragon? That seems more useful.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:That's actually what I think he was doing, using himself as bait.showa58taro wrote:Was Bran warging just to lead the night king to him?
