The middle seasons did at times test my patience in terms of purpose. Felt like it has forgotten that a payoff is needed in some stories.

One of those spin offs should follow Arya off the map.

Exactly what I was thinking. Couldn't help but hear the Jack Sparrow theme pop in my head showing her at the end. "Drink up me hearties yo ho!"

I can't wait until a lot of the Star Wars nerds are introduced to Benioff and Weiss...

Like every bad episode, definitely some great scenes and a couple arcs were actually wrapped up satisfyingly.

On the whole, that was appalling.

That was a tragedy what they did to this show almost like they got pissed at its success and wanted to torpedo it at the end.

I honestly think Benioff and Weiss should be arrested.

Things played out how they were supposed to, but were rushed due to the showrunners wanting to jump ship to write the new Star Wars. Everything I've read says it was all on them to cut the last two seasons short, and its left the story unfulfilling. While the ending matters, the journey there matters more, and they didn't seem to either care, or understand that. Basically, it was a satisfying ending, but done poorly.

I'm surprised they let Jon kill Dany, to be honest, as that was part of the whole prophecy thing. I expected them to "subvert expectations" and have Grey Worm do it or some shit. Bronn getting High Garden is just plain dumb and pure fanservice.
