sense enough to hire the guys from the lego movie, and approve their shooting script, and then less than a month from completion, fire the two of them. i'm not sure what she was expecting to have. i don't see this is as being about sense.Monster wrote:So they were making a comedy. Thank God Kathleen Kennedy has better sense.

I doubt she was expecting another Lego movie when she hired them. Probably thought they stick to the script. In any case, she could've run with it but had the sense to put a stop to it.

He's definitely a bit of a wise ass. But giving the whole movie a comedic tone sounds like a train wreck to me. I think Lucas way over did the silliness in the prequels and it made those movies hard to watch.showa58taro wrote:Han Solo always had a bit of comedy about him though. Not all that mental.

I think when you said Comedy I was more picturing the slew of modern comedies that revolve around a more hard R rating and are funny with good action in. not Jar Jar motherfucking Binks. If it was going that way, then definitely shit-can the director and reshoot the whole damn thing.Monster wrote:He's definitely a bit of a wise ass. I rank Waterwold above Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.Tiggnutz wrote:I like Waterworld never understood the shit it gotzombie wrote:i'm with tigg, pre-realizing that you guys were talking about a different movie. dennis hopper was the best thing about super mario, but i thought all of it was fun. (though it's been years since i've seen it)
waterworld was a similar situation, though i know that i still like that one.

Okay, I didn't think posting a video was going to be a problem, but apparently I can't do it and I don't see it in the FAQ. Help?

Hmmmm? I'm gonna go ahead and agree with that. Slightly better but indeed better.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:I rank Waterwold above Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.Tiggnutz wrote:I like Waterworld never understood the shit it gotzombie wrote:i'm with tigg, pre-realizing that you guys were talking about a different movie. dennis hopper was the best thing about super mario, but i thought all of it was fun. Take the part after the v= and put it between the youtube tags:

Don't remember. I just wish there was a way to add videos from other sites.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Thanks, is that like the old way? Seems familiar.
Re: June 23rd 2017
It's the same. Only difference is [youtube] as opposed to [yt]
Re: June 23rd 2017
also being able to embed videos, from a certain runtime, would be nice.
Re: June 23rd 2017
Yeah. I haven't figured out how to implement that here.
