Just need to survive today. Work is gonna be crazy busy and my coworker has been out all week.

My company wants Saturday requests in before Wednesday on the same week. I requested on Monday. Everything they do is last second. Phone lines are open 13 hours a day and they will essentially book anybody who wants concrete at any time they request. This is why we're forced to call the system after hours to find out what time we start in the mornings, because they will just say "yes" to any order and run the drivers into the ground. We also are the ones who have to deal with angry people ready for the concrete, because we're like 3 hours late thanks to the company overbooking the living hell out of the day without any consideration for organized scheduling. I'll be working a normal morning shift and they'll out of the blue inform me before I clock out that I need to be there at 11pm for a night job and shit. They are insane.

But yeah, their rule is before Wednesday if you want Saturday off. Thankfully I only wanted Saturday off so I can celebrate Sanity Saturday by doing nothing all day. Glad I didn't buy tickets to a show somewhere or plan a weekend away or something. Fuckin' shit heels. No decency to inform me I'd be on the schedule in advance or anything, but that's because they do everything last second!

I'm still sick as fuck, too. Been looking all over for jobs on craigslist. No luck finding anything I'd even consider.
