Hot as balls I needed forceps to pick my boxers out of my ass crack and my Bluetooth headphones finally died. Oh well at least it's the weekend

Mondays at work tend to be the slowest day for concrete, and it gradually picks up all the way to Friday. And of course the low level scum that is me will have to work Saturdays because when you're 15 years in the company you finally get actual weekends off. I'm only in my 3rd year of the company, and of course, seemingly everyone in the company has been there 15 years.
HOWEVER, the company printed a volunteer paper for Mondays, asking for volunteers to take those days off if it isn't too busy. No need to schedule everyone in for work when there isn't enough for every driver in the company. I signed John Hancock style, hoping that although I have to work Saturdays still, maybe I can get a Sunday-Monday style weekend every other week or so.
You may have guessed the plot twist, by now: I've worked every Monday since, and the drivers ahead of me in seniority now get three day weekends.
