Re: July 29th 2019
Is that the 90's Humanoids From The Deep remake? I never saw it, so I'm just guessing.
Re: July 29th 2019
No and I also have not seen that. It's from 1979DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Is that the 90's Humanoids From The Deep remake? I never saw it, so I'm just guessing.

Got nothing. But looksfun!
Man, it’s hot. Not sure how you guys survive this and warmer for months on end. One day and I’m exhausted.

I've spent the last thirteen years working in that shit. Hopefully that will be done with soon, though.showa58taro wrote:Got nothing. But looksfun!

Re: July 29th 2019
They're making changes to company policy left and right lately, so it's a fucking headache. They basically are removing the autonomy of the managers instead of letting us do our fucking jobs. The not firing thing makes fuckall sense. He's done several things that should have led to immediate termination, it even says so in our company handbook, but the new HR person is too fucking wishy-washy and won't let me lay the hammer down. I fired other people before she showed up with no issues, now I gotta deal with this bullshit. She just wrote him up. That's it. I'm gonna be hunting for any reason to fire his ass from now on, so it's just a matter of time, but it should already be done.showa58taro wrote:Saw your Twitter post. I've been applying to jobs out of state, so hopefully I can get the fuck out of here soon. I've had no luck locally, though, so who the fuck knows if this will be any different.

Vancouver, WA ideally. I'm fucking old and just wanna live somewhere that isn't hot as balls, doesn't snow, and doesn't have hurricanes. Mountains are just a bonus.Reign in Blood wrote:Where you looking at, Slaughter? Anywhere?

Vancouver WA can still get a bit warm. Not SoCal hot, but annoyingly sweaty with minimal walking hot. But yeah, don't think it snows there.Slaughterhouserock wrote:Vancouver, WA ideally. Re: July 29th 2019
They average a couple inches of snow a year, I'm ok with that. And the heat is nothing compared to the shit I'm used to. Average high in August is 80. Average low in December/January is 32. The rest of the year is fucking great as far as I'm concerned. It rains alot, but I don't care about that shit. Seems like paradise compared to fucking Florida.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Vancouver WA can still get a bit warm. Not SoCal hot, but annoyingly sweaty with minimal walking hot. It is entirely possible the summer I was there was above average lol. Yeah, it ain't no triple digits though, but I remember it dancing close to 90's a couple times.Slaughterhouserock wrote:They average a couple inches of snow a year, I'm ok with that.
