In Europe that is illegal. Especially if you’re working too hard to use them (also illegal).Jason wrote:Ours don't roll. Use 'em or lose 'em.showa58taro wrote:Ouch. I got 21 days on top of my 27 I had earned plus 10 rolled over.Jason wrote:I get ten whole vacation days a year.

My dad's old job used to roll over time off. He built up about three months worth of time off, so they changed the policy so it wouldn't roll over any more and he lost it all. In the states, work is life.showa58taro wrote:In Europe that is illegal. Especially if you’re working too hard to use them (also illegal).

Brutal. There should be way more power vested in workers rights and equal treatment under the law. You guys are at the mercy of scum.Slaughterhouserock wrote:My dad's old job used to roll over time off. Pretty much. When the people who make the laws are business owners, all that matters is what makes them more money.showa58taro wrote:Brutal. There should be way more power vested in workers rights and equal treatment under the law. You guys are at the mercy of scum.

The best fix the US could have (and never will) is a ban on spending in politics, and the removal of lobbying and special interests. You’re right, what’s their incentive to make things fairer at the minute? Sweet fuck all.Slaughterhouserock wrote:Pretty much. There are workers unions, and sometimes it works the way your stuff does in the U.K.
