It's Amber's birthday weekend. She took the day off today. I'm grilling shrimp skewers, steak, and lobster tails. I ain't gonna grill the lobster tails though. Too expensive to experiment with grilling. I don't even know how to cook them. Maybe boil them?

Dude ....it's a game changer. I've only had KFC once in the past 10 years. It made me so sick. We will order the big bucket from Popeye's, and the crunchies at the bottom of the bucket takes days to finish. It's legit and better than Grandma's.

The only time I really liked KFC is when they had the Double Downs. Then they took that away, tried to make up for it with a single chicken sandwiched with actual bread version that was a far cry from the original Double Down.

There are 3 Popeyes in town. Two of the three I drove across town had a sign on the door that said "Sorry, this location is out of chicken sandwiches". Didn't even bother with the 3rd location. Weren't prepared for the rush. Guess that's what happens when you challenge the monster that is Chick Fil A.

Got Wendy's spicy nuggets instead. Yum.
