This goes back to the point I made in the theater seating thread. People tend to bail, whether it's a friend bailing on another friend, a customer bailing on a ticket purchase, etc... This is just where we are in this generation.

Refunds are easy. Surprisingly easy. I don't think I've even had that much ease at Walmart.

Not when you arrive early to get good seats and they're all taken, only to find the flakers got a last minute refund.

They go on sale days or even weeks in advance. I have no clue what day I will be able to see it, and I'm not jumping ahead in line weeks in advance just to back out at the last second like all the other flakers.

Idk, I'm pretty indifferent but it's their world so it's gonna be easier to play by their rules.

Seeing a film on its release day was fun. Did enjoy. But I think that it’s pretty easy to avoid spoilers and see a film a week or two after release. At which point st least in London attendance tends to even out.
