Yo all, which of the movies listed below ARE NOT horror, as far as the October challenge goes? I want to know what I shouldn't watch, and wanted some consensus. I reserve the right to watch anything and count it as horror, though, so be ready. ;)

1) The Fourth Kind (2009)
2) Alien³ (1992)
3) Alien: Resurrection (1997)
4) Identity (2003)
5) The Uninvited (1944)
6) Wait Until Dark (1967)
7) Untraceable (2008)
8) Radon (1956)
9) Dark Skies (2013)
10) Hillbillys in a Haunted House (1967)
11) The War of the Worlds (1953)
12) Splice (2009)

I'll certainly watch it, and IMDb labels it horror so I'm inclined to count it for October, but it seems borderline.

My main concern are the Alien sequels. I know the second doesn't count, but I've not seen the third or fourth, so if those count, I should be golden to finish the main series.

The only iffy one to me is Alien Resurrection, as it takes the sci fi action of Aliens, and drops any of the leftover horror that Aliens had lingering in it. Of those original 4, it's the least Horror.

But maybe because it's so damn goofy, any potential for horror got turned into campy comedy. *shrug*

Alien Resurrection's pretty bad :P

Alien 3 definitely goes back to the more horror root the original had. It's not as good, as it's production mess is legendary and even Fincher disowns the movie due to all the studio meddling, but it definitely has strong effort for horror.

The Fourth Kind is horror, bitch. Unless you're talking about ace horror. Which it is not.

I'm personally not really looking forward to the movie, but as long as it's counted as horror, I'll keep it on my radar.

If anyone feels strongly about any of those movies not being horror, just let me know, and thanks to all those who answered.

I'm off to bed, and you all have a good night.
